Branding project for an invented character called Kashtanchik who is a cute Ukrainian conker, angry about the war in his home today. The project consists of a series of merchandise including a 3D printed keychain, t shirts and scarves. These were designed with a custom typeface and then presented through art directed shoots and 3D rendered videos.
The project is inspired by our relationship with childhood heroes who remain deep in our consciousness throughout our adult lives.
Ukrainians dream of peace at home. Where kids can remain being kids and have their childhoods be full of stories and adventures, rather than death and destruction. Ukrainians crave a sense of belonging, and their memories of life before the war, becomes precious. Kashtanchik re interprets the wider cultures interest of nostalgia for childhood heroes in a Ukrainian context, relevant to the current war.

Брендинговий проект для вигаданого персонажа на ім’я Каштанчик, який є симпатичним українським каштаном, злим на війну, яка сьогодні відбувається у його домі. Проект складається із серії товарів, включаючи 3D-друкований брелок, футболки та шарфи. Вони були розроблені зі спеціальним шрифтом, а потім представлені в художніх зйомках і 3D-відео.

На створення проекту надихнули наші стосунки з героями дитинства, які залишаються глибоко в нашій свідомості протягом усього нашого дорослого життя.
Українці мріють про мир удома. Де діти можуть залишатися дітьми, а дитинство буде сповнене історій і пригод, а не смерті та руйнування. Каштанчик реінтерпретує ширший культурний інтерес ностальгії за героями дитинства в українському контексті, актуальному для поточної війни.
